{"id":413,"date":"2019-09-03T06:43:44","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T06:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/docs.theironnetwork.org\/vuely\/?page_id=413"},"modified":"2019-10-15T09:45:43","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T09:45:43","slug":"installation-vuely-laravel","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/docs.theironnetwork.org\/vuely\/installation-vuely-laravel\/","title":{"rendered":"Installation Vuely-Laravel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Please follow the detailed documentation to install Vuely-Laravel on your system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given below are the steps you need to follow, to install the vuely-laravel on your system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: <\/strong>Open the terminal in your root directory &amp; to install the composer packages run the command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">composer install<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>In the root directory, you will find a file named <code>.env.example<\/code> rename the given <g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\">file name<\/g> to  <code>.env<\/code> and run the following command to generate the key (and you can also edit your <g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">data base<\/g> credentials here)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">php artisan key:generate<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>By running the following command, you will be able to get all the dependencies in your <code>node_modules<\/code> folder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">npm install<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: <\/strong>To run the project you need to run following command in the project directory. It will compile the <g class=\"gr_ gr_5 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling\" id=\"5\" data-gr-id=\"5\">vue<\/g> files &amp; all the other project files. If you are making any changes in any of <g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\">the <\/g><code>.vue<\/code><g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Style multiReplace\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\"> file<\/g> then you need to run the given command again<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">npm run dev<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5: <\/strong>If you want to run the project and make the build in the production mode then run the following command in the root directory, otherwise the project will continue to run in the development mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">npm run prod<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6: <\/strong>To serve the application you need to run the following command in the project directory. (This will give you an address with port number 8000)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now navigate to the given address you will see your application is running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">php artisan serve<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>To change the port address, run the following command:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">php artisan serve --port=8080 \/\/ For port 8080<br>sudo php artisan serve --port=80 \/\/ If you want to run it on port 80, you probably need to sudo.<br><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h6 id=\"facing-any-issues-regarding-permissions\">Facing Any Issues Regarding Permissions ?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are facing any issues regarding the permissions, then you need to run the following command in your project directory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo chmod -R o+rw bootstrap\/cache<br>sudo chmod -R o+rw storage<\/pre>\n<div class=\"pld-like-dislike-wrap pld-template-1\">\n    <div class=\"pld-like-wrap  pld-common-wrap\">\n    <a href=\"javascript:void(0);\" class=\"pld-like-trigger pld-like-dislike-trigger \" title=\"\" data-post-id=\"413\" data-trigger-type=\"like\" data-restriction=\"cookie\" data-ip-check=\"0\" data-user-check=\"1\">\n                        <i class=\"fas fa-thumbs-up\"><\/i>\n                    <\/a>\n    <span class=\"pld-like-count-wrap pld-count-wrap\">5    <\/span>\n<\/div><div class=\"pld-dislike-wrap  pld-common-wrap\">\n    <a href=\"javascript:void(0);\" class=\"pld-dislike-trigger pld-like-dislike-trigger \" title=\"\" data-post-id=\"413\" data-trigger-type=\"dislike\" data-ip-check=\"0\" data-restriction=\"cookie\" data-user-check=\"1\">\n                        <i class=\"fas fa-thumbs-down\"><\/i>\n                    <\/a>\n    <span class=\"pld-dislike-count-wrap pld-count-wrap\"><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please follow the detailed documentation to install Vuely-Laravel on your system.
